Highlites:Tehran-Hamedan-kermanshah-khorramabad-Isfahan-Yazd-Shiraz
Day 1: (Tehran to Hamedan) After arrival to IKA early morning will Drive to Hamedan ,we have check in to hotel for rest.we vist the tomb of Esther and Mordechai ,andvisit tomb of Avicenna who was the Persian physician,then visit Hegmataneh archeological site dates back to 6th century BC.our next site to visit is the tomb of Baba Taher as one of the greatest poet in iranian literature . over night Hamedan
Day 2: Kabudar Ahang village drive 100 km north of hamedan to visit Ali Sadr cave ,it’s the world largest water cave , by pedal boats you can visit inside the cave . over night Hamedan
Day 3: (Hamedan-kermanshah)
We will drive 200 km west ward to kermashah from Hamedan.kermanshah has a moderate and mountainous climate .in an old town called kangavar we will visit the Anahita temple –the mother goddess of abundance and guardian of water in ancient Persia. we continue the old caravan route to Bistoon which dates back to the Middle Paleolithic. The Achaemenian inscriptions offer 1,200 lines about the battles of Darius the Great who fought against the governors trying to dismantle the Empire originally founded by Cyrus. This was the site where the decisive battle took place, leaving the famous Tablets of Darius. Nearby in the village of Sahneh we can visit the tomb of Ostad Khalil Alinejad the best player of Tanboor in the world. overnight kermanshah
Day 4: Kermanshah
In Kermanshah we will visit the Sassanian rock carvings of Tagh-e-Bostan. These bas-reliefs, cut from the stone cliff, depict royal scenes of battles and hunts reflecting the glorious history of the Sassanid Kings . overnight Kermanshah
Day 5: Kermanshah- khorramabad (193 km driving about 2 h 40 min)
We will drive to Khorramabad and will visit Falak-ol-Aflak castle , situated on the top of a large hill . overnight Khorramabad
Day 6:khorramabad-Isfahan(390 km about 5h driving)
We will visit Keeyow Lake , then drive to Isfahan , after arrival will visit , “Khajoo” and “Si o sepol” bridges. Overnight stay at the Isfahan hotel.
Day 7: Isfahan
Full day city tour in “Isfahan” visiting: “Chehel Sotun” palace , “Aali qapu” palace, ”Imam” square(UNESCO world heritage) “Imam” mosque, “Vank” church.Overnight stay at the Isfahan hotel.
Day 8: Isfahan
Full day city tour including “Grand bazaar” (Imam or Naqshe-jahan Sq.) and free time for shopping. Overnight stay at the Isfahan hotel.
Day 9: Isfahan-yazd
Head for “Yazd”, visit “Varzaneh”desert enroute,“Naeen”city,“Nareen” castle in”Meybod” city enroute,transfer to the hotel in ”Yazd”. Overnight stay at hotel in Yazd.
Day 10: yazd
Full day city tour of “Yazd”, visiting: “Amir Chakmagh” historic zone, “Badgir”(wind towers), Grand mosqueof“Yazd”, Zoroastrianfire temple, Zoroastriantowerof silence,Alexander’sPrison, Overnight stay at the Yazd hotel.
Day 11: Yazd-Shiraz
Head for “Shiraz”, visit“ The Cypress of Abarkuh”(one of the oldest trees in the world-4000years old),then“ Pasargad” Complex, the tomb of “Great Cyrus”, AchaemenidKing(UNESCO world heritage), “Persepolis” (UNESCO world heritage, Palaces and temples of Achaemenid Empire from 2500 years ago), “Naghsh-e-Rostam”(the tombs of Achaemenid and Sassanid Emperors), Inscription. Transfer to “Shiraz”. Overnight stay at the Shiraz hotel.
Day 12: Shiraz
visit “Nasir ol molk” mosque, “Narenjestan-e-Ghavam” (Ghavam Orange garden), “Arg-eKarimkhani”(KarimkhanCastel),“GrandBazar”,“ShahCheragh”mausoleum, “Hafezieh”.Overnight stay at the Shiraz hotel.
Day 13: Shiraz-Tehran(1 hour flight)
We have flight from shiraz to Tehran, after arrival we will visit “National Museum”, “Golestan” palace, then transfer you to IKA for your departure flight home.
